Developing a personal brand at an early age will provide young professionals with a structured framework for their professional lives. Students will walk away knowing who they are and what they want in life saving time and money during their college, career and life planning.
Mission
To deliver cutting edge, 21st Century curriculum’s that will prepare students for their professional careers by using programs to help enhance their Problem Solving, Critical Thinking, Personal Branding, Entrepreneurship, Networking and Creative skills.
Target
Although many seasoned professionals have benefited from our messages, we strongly believe the root to true development starts young, therefore; the target audiences for the workshops below are mid-High School and College Students.
Why This Program?
First…Students and educators have asked for it! They want to know how to make the most out of their abilities and market them to companies and business professionals.
Second... Companies large and small have spent millions of dollars and countless hours on developing their brand, and marketing their products and services to convince consumers to buy into them. The result – we buy! If it works for them, it can work for anyone... right?
Our mission - to teach young and up - and - coming professionals (YP’s) how to take the Marketing 101 basics of every company they buy into and utilize it to do 3 things:
- Develop their personal brand identity
- Release their inner-connector
- Net-work for their Net-worth
During the “Getting Branded!” sessions YP’s will learn:
Session 1: 4 P’s of Personal Brand Development
- Passion, Purpose, Platform, Power (*activity)
- Importance of personal growth and development
- Search Institute’s® Development Asset®: 25, 28, 37-40
*This is the core of personal brand development. Knowing who they are, what their passion, purpose and platforms are in life will allow YP’s to sculpt the proper brand message. Everything starts within.
Session 2: Build Your B.R.A.N.D.
- Build, Register, Act, Narrow, Deliver
- Effective techniques of corporate branding
- Personal brand portfolio development (*activity)
- Search Institute’s® Development Asset®: 32
YP’s will be able to develop their personal brand portfolio utilizing the B.R.A.N.D technique. This will be a hands on activity where they will walk away with portfolios to use and distribute and promote themselves to colleges and corporations.
Session 3: Your Return On Personal Marketing Investment (R.O.P.M.I.)
- Basics of Return On Investment (R.O.I.)
- Marketing and promotional mediums (activity)
- Time and financial management

*Using examples of very well branded companies, YP’s will gain an in-depth knowledge of how corporations use marketing to promote their products and increase customer buy-in and loyalty.
Session 4: Networking Your Way to the Top
- Who do you want to connect with and why
- Why they should they connect with you
- Awareness and preparedness (*activity)
- Interactive Marketing Online

*During this session YP’s will take everything learned throughout the course and network in a live setting with each other as well as adult volunteers.
